Cesar Maria is an LA based songwriter/producer. After releasing two albums with his band Juan Wayne, he rolled tape on his bedroom pop debut, “Liars”. His “Beatlesque” songwriting is straight from the heart - direct without pretense. Whether he is working on an artistic recording project or a commercial writing assignment, a minimalist production style and focus on the song drive his creative ethos. He often incorporates magnetic tape in to his productions both as a multitrack recording medium and a creative sonic tool. Above all, he works to make music that sounds and feels like ‘the favorite record that you’ve never heard’; at once familiar and original.
